The FOBRO Comber can be used for almost all crops e.g. all cereals, maize, beet, rape, soya, broad beans, peas, potatoes, vegetables and pasture.
The spring tines can be made less aggressive by altering the angle of attack using a simple control lever at each individual grassland comb (10 positions). Alternatively, the angle of attack can be fine-tuned via a hydraulic prong adjustment.
The lateral vibration of the spring tines associated with the speed of travel ensures efficient operation.
Immediately before sowing, to discourage growth of weeds, break up the soil crust, distribute the straw evenly after harvesting and work fallow land.
Cultivation of cereal crops
When cultivating cereal crops, the FOBRO Comber is used to control weeds and aerate the soil.
Cultivation of maize, sunflowers and sugar beet
When cultivating sunflowers, maize and sugar beet, the FOBRO Comber is used before germination of the seedlings to control weeds that have already grown and with seedlings of up to 25 cm.
Use of the FOBRO Comber ensures balanced moisture content because the capillarity is broken up right up to the surface.
Tine diameter 12 mm
The spring-tooth harrow with 12 mm tine diameter is used for surface layer harrowing and treating fallow land, as well as uniform distribution of straw.
