Seed and plant preparation poses particular demands when it comes to vegetable gardening. Baertschi bed cultivators cover these very demands to the optimum. Build on our experience with proven technology.
Baertschi has recently become involved in the development of the MUROCUT. This is a machine that permits vegetables to be planted directly into an existing layer of mulch. If you register to receive a brochure showing the data for this, we will keep you abreast of this new planting technique as it develops.
- Robust and proven
- Precise cultivation
- New: Mulch planting
The FOBRO Kulti-Rotor bed cultivator has been proven over the years for vegetable farming, nursery gardening and special cultivation systems. The advantage of the seed or plant bed being generated in a single pass between the tractor wheels ensures an optimum result. The Kulti-Rotor is provided with a robust directly-driven transmission. Both chains have automatic tensioning and run in the oil bath. That means more power with low maintenance.
Baertschi-Fobro invented the Tornado rotary harrow in 1967. This experience and the practical knowledge of rotary harrows, together with the Kulti-Rotor, a successful bed cultivator standard machine for vegetable farming that has been produced since 1984, has resulted in the Kreisel Kulti bed cultivator. The flattening cultivation roller rotates backwards, leaving a perfect surface to the bed. The flat finely and evenly textured tilth is ideal for sowing or planting. The flattening cultivation roller is height-adjustable, which permits various working depths, since the rotary harrow can be adjusted independently of the flattening cultivation roller.
The bed cultivator with good performance, quality of work, handling, operating safety and reliable servicing. The foundation for this development is our many years of experience in the manufacture of the Kulti-Rotor and Multi-Rotor bed cultivators. In just a few seconds the bed cultivators are folded up, locked, and ready to be driven on the road.
The MuroCut planting machine makes the mulch system profitable and productive. The mulch cover is cleanly cut by the powered high-speed knife and is spread for the planting process, after which it is closed up against around the seedling. The next operation is harvesting! Thus no planning is required in what is otherwise a dry and hectic summer.
